My name is Hailie! I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 15 years and a Licensed Master Esthetician for 4 years in Idaho & Utah. I was born in Idaho but lived in Utah most of my adult life. I am a unique, passionate, hard-working individual. I am a travel-loving family girl with a slight obsession to chocolate. If you catch me on my day off you will likely find me shopping for all things beauty, riding my cute beach cruiser, painting, making something in the kitchen, or catching up on the latest Dateline & Crime Watch Daily.
Before I became an esthetician I was a cosmetologist and working full time as an Orthodontic Assistant in Salt Lake City while becoming a freelance makeup artist. A nonprofit organization approached me about doing hair and makeup for a mother and her 3 year old daughter. Her daughter had terminal brain cancer. I agreed to help! The day I met them I was so nervous. The little girl was really sick. I placed some lipgloss on her, and handed her a small crown to wear. That small act perked her up. The young mother was exhausted. She was in survival mode trying to care for her terminally-ill daughter as well as two other children. As I did the mother’s hair and makeup she told me how grateful she was that I was there, and how the experience meant so much to her and her family. I was completely humbled. When we finished, I turned her to face the mirror and she started to cry. She looked at me and said, “I look so beautiful.” In that moment, I knew my life was forever changed. I discovered my calling in life that day. The next week I dropped my career of eight years in dental to pursue schooling for my Master Esthetic License. I thank God every day for that experience. If I had never met that sweet girl and her mother I wouldn’t be where I am today. I always say “I didn’t find skincare, skincare found me!”
I believe everyone should feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. My job is making that happen! I love the relaxing and spiritual side of esthetics, but I also love the medical side. My background in the medical field gave me knowledge in how to provide a very safe and clean working environment. In school I strived to be the best at what I did. I purposely took advanced classes in micro needling, chemical peels, waxing, air brushing, makeup, etc. and achieved the highest GPA in my class, but perhaps my greatest achievement was being voted top requested student consecutively the last 4 months of esthetic school. I absolutely loved my experience & education at NIMA (National Institute of Medical Aesthetics) and I continue to educate myself about the field by researching new treatments and techniques. My goal is to provide my clients a balanced experience so they leave looking and feeling amazing. I take the time to educate my clientele about their products and treatments so they go home feeling confident in their own skin. Clients can expect a clean, quiet, and safe atmosphere with an esthetician that genuinely cares about them. I am thrilled to be back in Idaho Falls, where I can serve and contribute my talent!
